Share Your Story

Stories of Recovery is a blog dedicated to having a safe place and environment where anyone and everyone can share their stories. Whether it's self harm, eating disorder, drugs, alcohol, physical/sexual abuse or assault, or anything else that you are going through or have gone through, we would love to hear your story.

The point of this blog is to show people who are struggling that they are not alone, and to allow those who have conquered their struggles to relate to others.

Submissions are open, asks are open, and anonymous is always on.

This blog is brand new, so please excuse any mess we currently have as we are tweaking and adjusting, trying to make everything work for you. :)

If you have and questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to let us know!

To submit anonymously, it says you need to enter an name and email address, but you don't have to enter your actual name and email address. You can simply put "joeblow@aol.com" as the email and "Joe Blow" as the name. It will still submit to us, and your identity will be kept anonymous.

If you didn’t cut last night, I’m proud of you.

If you didn’t purge last night, I’m proud of you.

If you ate something last night, I’m proud of you.

If you calmed yourself down during an anxiety attack, I’m proud of you.

If you didn’t let the bullies get to you, I’m proud of you.

If you stayed alive for another night, I’m proud of you.
